It’s been a long old winter and I think we’re all impatient for the warmer weather to arrive. The first signs of spring are here already with dazzling daffodils (always a favourite of mine having been brought up in Wales), delicate snowdrops and colourful crocuses. The birds sound more cheerful and the days are getting longer. The spring equinox on March 20th hails the official onset of spring. All we need now is some sunshine!

I’m so pleased to let you all know that Forest Reiki is open for business again. I had a trial run last week and am so enjoying practising my Reiki again. I have spent the last few weeks ensuring that I am ticking all the Covid-19 protection boxes and am raring to go.

Spring is here at last which is such a relief after what seemed like the longest winter ever. The birds sound more cheerful and there are signs of new life everywhere, with daffodils, crocuses and snowdrops reflecting a new, more optimistic mood.

I have really missed holding space for all my clients and am so looking forward to being able to offer Reiki treatments again. I shall, of course, be putting various measures in place to ensure that you feel confident that Forest Reiki offers a safe environment and will communicate these to you before I open again.

I’ve been meaning to write this blog post for a few weeks now - ever since our everyday lives were turned upside down and we began to find the ‘new normal’. It’s strange as in theory, I’ve had more time than usual to get on with it but I felt somehow ‘stuck’. Not so much a case of ‘fight or flight’ but rather ‘freeze’, worrying about the impact of the ‘C word’, on both a financial and a personal level.
